|Brad Canova, Vice President||Brad Canova is a Principal Software Engineer at The MITRE Corporation. He has lived in the Fredericksburg area for over 20 years. He grew up in central Pennsylvania on a farm and has had pets his entire life. He has been|
a member of the SPCA board since June of 2016.
|Kris Sieber, Immediate Past President||S. Kris Sieber, director of member services at Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. She is an active volunteer for the Rappahannock United Way. She is an active member of the Leadership Fredericksburg Alumni group. Sieber resides in Fredericksburg, Va.|
|Bob Bagnato,||Bob Bagnato is retired and worked for CVS Health for 31 years. Bob and his wife Sally have lived in Spotsylvania County for 22 years and have a happy dog named Rainier. Bob in his retirement does some part time seasonal work with the Rappahannock United Way assisting low income people with their taxes. He has been a member of the SPCA Board since 2015.|
|Sarah Walsh, Director||Sarah Walsh has served in various roles at the Rappahannock United Way since 2004. Born and raised in England, she worked with UK based charitable organizations St Oswald’s Hospice, and OXFAM International. Sarah’s leadership journey has led her to serve on several boards and committees at the local, state and national level, including as a Commissioner to the Governor’s Advisory Board on National and Community Service, Fredericksburg SPCA, Volunteer Centers of Virginia, Virginia Credit Union Advisory Council, Rappahannock Electric Cooperative Community Grants Committee, and the Spotsylvania Education Foundation Board of Directors.|
|Denise Talley-Guest, Director||Denise Talley grew up in Fredericksburg. She graduated from Va Tech and JMU. She is the Dean of Professional and Technical Studies at Germanna. She is the proud Mom of 5 rescued pups and loves to travel with them. Her oldest two have been up and down most of the east coast.|
|Michael Torosian, Director||Michael Torosian has been a resident of the Fredericksburg area since 1971. He has worked in the banking industry, primarily in commercial lending, most recently with Union Bank & Trust. He's been married to Helen D. Torosian, a retired biology and marine science teacher, since 1971. They have 3 cats and 2 dogs. Michael has been a board member for the FredSPCA since 2016 and also serves as a board member for Employment Resources, Inc. (the Gladys Oberle School) and Housing Opportunities Made Economical, Inc.|
|Becky Sperlazza, Director||Becky Sperlazza worked for the Virginia Employment Commission for 30 years and is currently a Project Manager for On Point Technology, LLC. She has lived in Fredericksburg for over 35 years. In that time, she and her husband John have rescued and adopted 9 dogs and 5 cats. Becky re-joined the Board in June of 2017 after serving from 1997 to 2005. She also serves on the Boards of the Central Virginia Housing Coalition and the Rappahannock-Fredericksburg Rotary Club.|
